C.N.F EDITORIAL: Where is the U.S.A heading?

While the Oklahoma's Supreme Court has declared that the State must remove a Ten Commandments stone monument, the Satanic Statue is being unveiled in Detroit. The goal of the Satanist, which has been ongoing for years, was to move the statue to Oklahoma, side by side the 10 Commandments statue. Once that failed, their new plan is to move it to Arkansas where a law authorizing a Ten Commandments statue on capitol grounds was approved earlier in 2015. Why are the Satanists so fixated with placing their statue beside the Ten Commandments?

Some sections of the American judiciary are increasingly becoming tools for upturning the status quo, coming in the wake of the controversial gay right ruling of June 26, 2015. These Judgments at most times, are at variance with the tide of public opinion, the States Legislature and her executive arm. Why must the verdict of few “activist" Judges prevail against the majority, including the elected arms and the general populace. Is there no place for referendum especially on major and highly controversial issues?
Christianity Today Reports:

Oklahoma's Supreme Court on Monday said the state must remove a Ten Commandments stone monument first placed at its Capitol in 2012, rejecting an appeal to reconsider an earlier decision.

The justices denied a request by the Oklahoma Capitol Preservation Commission to rethink the court's June 30 decision that the statue's placement violates the state constitution's ban on the use of state property for the benefit of religion.

"We carefully consider the arguments of the commission and find no merit warranting a grant of rehearing," Chief Justice John Reif wrote.

"In the meantime, the state is reviewing what legal options are available for preserving the monument," spokesman Alex Weintz said.
While in Detroit a Satanic temple is being unveiled, but this however, is not going down without objection and protest.

The CNN report on "Was America founded as a Christian nation?", further increased the confusion as the various historians interviewed, all gave conflicting views. United States of America, which is “assumed" by many the world over as a Christian nation, now questions her foundation. A nation God has favoured and prospered, which has risen from the ashes of a bitter confederate war to become the greatest and the most powerful nation on the earth is about derailing the foundation that brought the cherished prominence. History is replete with kingdoms that rose and fell. We read about the rise of Assyria, Egypt, Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece and the great iron, the Roman Empire. Archeologists uncovered tablets upon which King Nebuchadnezzar had written these words: "Babylon- the city which is the delight of my eyes, and which I have glorified; may it last forever." Wrong Sir, Babylon only lasted 70 years!

While, it must be said that no nation Stays at the top forever, Great Britain and Germany are no exception, but the catalyst for decline is always a moral implosion from within. It's only a matter of time when everything connected to God in American history is eventually severed, as the nation slides to godlessness which eventually portends an ominous future with terrible consequences.

The American Church has to rise to the occasion by saving this great nation from imminent moral collapse. The Church being the moral compass of the society must start with an internal spiritual audit of her role in this moral debacle. The nation often heads towards the direction of the Church.  If the Church repairs herself, America will be healed. If the Church continues to be a cesspool of internal corruption and moral backsliding, then she lacks the power to change a nation of equal abysmal moral configuration.

The time for change is now.
