People who can survive on 4 hours of sleep a night have these common characteristics

Jim Cramer, host of CNBC’s Mad Money and co-founder of TheStreet.com, told Business Insider that he only needs four hours of sleep each night to feel well-rested and alert.

Cramer said he sleeps between 11:30 p.m. and 3:45 a.m. most weeknights, and rarely needs an alarm to rise. His father, he says, was the same way, only taking a couple of naps but never sleeping a full eight hours.

Cramer’s not the only one: Leaders such as Theranos CEO Elizabeth Holmes, Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer, and even President Barack Obama rarely — if ever — get what’s considered a full night of sleep.

Though not officially diagnosed, these sleep habits are consistent with those of a condition known as “short sleeping." Short sleepers, a group The Wall Street Journal once named the "sleepless elite," need only a short amount of sleep every night instead of the average 7-8 hours, and scientists estimate they make up only about 1% of the population.

In order to stem an epidemic of sexual assault committed by Muslim immigrants, so-called refugees from Muslim-majority countries are being offered voluntary classes in Norway designed to educate them about sexual violence and "the difference between right and wrong" when it comes to interacting with Scandinavian women.

The New York Times reports that asylum centers in Norway have been mandated since 2013 to offer such courses to young men from African and Arab nations. Per Isdal, a clinical psychologist in the program, said that many of the refugees “come from cultures that are not gender equal and where women are the property of men... We have to help them adapt to their new culture."

3. You eat a low-fat diet

Most people still believe we should avoid egg yolks and that eating a low-fat diet will help them lose weight. The old idea that fat has 9 calories per gram and carbs 4 calories per gram led to the mistaken idea that if we cut out fat, we would lose weight.

Well, look what’s happened to America in the last 30 years, where low fat has been the rage and the method for weight loss. We are fatter than ever (70 percent of us are overweight), and now, 1 in 2 Americans has pre-diabetes or type 2 diabetes or what I like to call “diabesity.”

Harvard scientist Walter Willet reviewed all the science on low fat and weight loss and found that it is not eating fat that makes you fat but sugar. A recent study by David Jenkins found that a low-carb (26%), high-fat (43%) vegan diet was more effective for weight loss and reducing cardiovascular risk factors than a vegan low-fat diet. The high-fat group lost 4 more pounds and dropped their cholesterol 10 more points by eating high fat. They called it Eco-Atkins!

What's more, the commissioner explains that anyone who speaks out against the migrants are labeled a "Nazi."

The United States and Islam: What Is Going On?

The irony is that no major power in recent history has gone out of its way as has the United States to help, respect, please and, yes, appease Islam. And, yet, no other nation has been a victim of vilification, demonization, and violence on the part of the Islamists as has the U.S.

The politically correct crowd has turned Islam into a new taboo. They brand any criticism of Islam as racist, ethnocentrist or simply vile, all crammed together in the new category of "Islamophobia." Is it Islamophobia to question a religion whose Middle East leaders often preach "Death to America" and hatred for Western values?

More prevalent than Islamophobia is Islamophilia, as leftists treat Muslims as children whose feathers should not be ruffled. The Islamophilia crowd invites Americans and Europeans to sacrifice part of their own freedom in atonement of largely imaginary sins against Muslims in the colonial and imperialist era.

Many Muslims resent the kind of flattery that takes them for idiots at a time that Islam and Muslims badly need to be criticized. The world needs to wake up and ask: What is going on?

Jihad in America: The True Scope of the ISIS Threat

WASHINGTON -- From taking down a Russian airliner to horrific terror attacks in Beirut and Paris, ISIS is spreading its tentacles worldwide.

The threat reached into America recently when two ISIS supporters slaughtered 14 people in San Bernardino, California – and there could be more to come.

More than 250 American citizens have traveled to Syria and Iraq to join ISIS, and dozens have already returned to the U.S. That finding comes directly from the House Homeland Security Committee.

Now, investigators believe an alarming number of Americans may welcome these ISIS recruits back home with open arms.

Obama administration officials say ISIS now has an extensive network of supporters and sympathizers inside the United States from coast to coast.

The husband and wife terror team that wreaked havoc in San Bernardino could be a sign of a growing trend.

FBI Director James Comey has said the Bureau is investigating ISIS-related activity in all 50 states – and that ISIS is recruiting here "24 hours a day."

In fact, FBI resources are reportedly running down some 1,000 ISIS cases, raising fears that the agency is being stretched thin as it tries to get a handle on the homegrown jihadist threat.

Still, President Barack Obama has said that his strategy to defeat ISIS is working and that the terror group is contained.

"I think that the FBI knows full well how serious the threat is on the ground," Katherine Gorka, president of the Threat Knowledge Group, told CBN News. "They're trying to grapple with it."

Gorka co-authored a recent report called "ISIS: The Threat to The United States," along with her husband, Dr. Sebastian Gorka.

"The reason we did the report in the first place is we were getting the sense that the threat in the United States was being downplayed for political reasons," Gorka told CBN News. "And that was exactly what the report showed – that the threat is far greater in this country than we had been led to believe."

The report found that American law enforcement has intercepted some 82 ISIS supporters since March 2014, and that ISIS is recruiting within the U.S. at about three times the rate of al Qaeda.

"Out of the 82 cases that we looked at – this is in the last 20 months – 82 people who've been interdicted by law enforcement in this country," Gorka said. "Only 18 have been turned in by someone that they knew. So this notion that the Muslim community is trying to protect us from radicalism right now is not really holding true."

The ISIS goal for these American supporters? Rise up and carry out regular terror attacks in U.S cities, creating an atmosphere of guerilla war.

It's no wonder recent polls show that concern over terrorism is as high today among Americans as it was in the weeks following 9/11; a majority lack confidence in the Obama administration's handling of terrorism and expect "lone wolf" jihadi attacks to continue on U.S. soil.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel announced something pretty surprising this week — she is going to "drastically decrease" the number of refugees entering Germany.

And it turns out the real reason for this is pretty simple.

The change of heart is a big deal because originally Merkel pledged to not put quotas on the number of refugees entering Germany since the EU is currently experiencing the worst refugee crisis since World War II.

Her willingness to accept refugees had helped earn her a nomination for a Nobel Peace Prize and the distinction of being Time's Person of the Year.

This month's ISIS manifesto claims India as part of Islamic Caliphate and, referring to the recent resurgence of Hindus in the country, states: "a movement of Hindus is growing who kill Muslims who eat beef."

ISIS flags and insignia are regularly displayed at protest rallies and religious gatherings in the Muslim-majority province of Kashmir.

Indian officials seem just as afraid of calling Islamist terror by its rightful name as their Western counterparts. Instead, they appear to be trying to distract the public by throwing money at ineffective social welfare programs. Perhaps these officials hope the public will think that at least "something" is being done.

The Islamic State (ISIS) is apparently planning to subjugate and conquer the ancient civilizations of the East as part of its worldwide jihad.

The spike in violent crimes committed by migrants has been corroborated by a leaked confidential police report, which reveals that a record-breaking 38,000 asylum seekers were accused of committing crimes in the country in 2014. Analysts believe this figure — which works out to more than 100 crimes a day — is only a fragment: many crimes are not reported.

United States lifts 40-year-old ban on oil export

WASHINGTON: The United States today lifted a 40-year-old ban on export of oil, thus paving the way for energy deficient countries like India to open up another frontier to import oil from a distant friendly nation.

The ban was lifted as President Barack Obama today signed into law the Omnibus USD 1.8 trillion spending package and tax bill for the current fiscal ending on September 30, 2016.

The move was welcomed by the industry, while pro- environmental groups were critical of it.

The average person gains 11 pounds for every diet they go on. Even worse, when they lose weight, they lose muscle and fat. When they regain weight, they gain back all fat. And since muscle burns seven times as many calories as fat, their metabolism is slower than when they started the diet. The cruel fact is that they then need even less calories to maintain their weight.

Haven’t you known someone who was very overweight and said they don’t eat that much? They may not be lying. They have just damaged their metabolism by yo-yo dieting.

The key to losing weight and keeping it off are two simple things. First, automatically reduce your appetite not by white knuckling it and starving yourself but fixing the out-of-whack hormones and brain chemistry that drive hunger and overeating.

I suppose a more relevant question isn’t the hypothetical “if,” but the inevitable “when.” All of us who read blogs and follow social media have come across vicious rants, mean-spirited treaties, and complete misunderstandings that anger us.

Microsoft pushing Windows 7 and 8 users to upgrade to Windows 10

Windows 7 and 8 users are seeing a new prompt to upgrade to Windows 10 that includes just two options: "Upgrade now" or "Upgrade tonight."

The message, spotted by InfoWorld, tells the user that Windows 10 is "free for a limited time" before displaying two big buttons. There is no option to permanently postpone the upgrade process beyond a small red cross in the top right corner.

Brittneyrose Torres, a surrogate mom who is 17-weeks pregnant with triplets, is being pressured to abort one of her fetuses by the biological parents. But Torres refuses.

She told the New York Post that the biological parents “knew from the beginning that we wouldn’t want to abort unless it was a life-and-death situation.” She added: “We would never want to abort a baby’s life.”

Starting in a standard plank position, raise the hips as high as they can go, then lower them back down. Continue this movement for as long as possible. Make sure the back stays straight and the hips don’t droop.

42. Side Plank

Roll to the side and come up on one foot and elbow. Make sure the hips are lifted and the core is engaged, and hang tight for 30-60 seconds (or as long as you can stomach!).

43. Russian Twist

Sit on the floor with knees bent and feet together, lifted a few inches off the floor. With the back at a 45-degree angle from the ground, move the arms from one side to another in a twisting motion. Here, slow and steady wins the race: The slower the twist, the deeper the burn. Feel like a fitness czar yet?

Obama anti-ISIS coalition crumbles as Arab allies focus elsewhere

The major Arab powers once deemed essential to the fight against the Islamic State in Syria and Iraq have largely pulled back from the U.S.-led military campaign, undercutting the Obama administration’s claims about the depth and reach of the coalition it has built with allies in the region.

The Obama administration consistently touts the “65-nation coalition” it has assembled to fight the group also known as ISIS, ISIL and Daesh — but critics say that fewer than a dozen nations today are contributing anything significant to the campaign.

And behind closed doors, administration and military officials admit that air support from such key Arab allies as Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) — something the White House once touted as an unprecedented and essential part of the coalition — has all but evaporated.

It was not until two months ago — as the war against the Islamic State was over a year old — that the Pentagon and the State Department began regular high-level planning meetings to make big decisions on how to defeat the terror army in Iraq and Syria, the nation’s top military officer told Congress on Tuesday.

One such momentous decision was to finally begin striking at the main source of the Islamic State’s financing — the columns of oil trucks heading to the black market — a cash flow that has been ongoing since the U.S. began the air war in August 2014.

Marine Corps Gen. Joseph Dunford, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said top Pentagon leadership and Secretary of State John F. Kerry began the sessions in October.

Be comfortable. Whatever time of day you decide to exercise, wear clothing that’s comfortable and choose a setting that you find calming or energizing. That may be a quiet corner of your home, a scenic path, or your favorite city park.

A once struggling, predominantly white church in Florida has experienced amazing growth since merging with a predominantly black megachurch.

In January, Ridgewood Baptist Church in Orange Park announced that they were merging with Shiloh Metropolitan Baptist Church of Jacksonville.

Ridgewood became the Orange Park Campus for Shiloh Church and since then the once struggling congregation has experienced a resurgence.

Dan Beckwith, pastor for the Orange Park Campus, told The Christian Post that since January, things have been "nothing short of a miracle."

An European Parliamentarian is working on a resolution calling on EU members to recognize that the Islamic State terror group is committing genocide against Christians and other minorities, and act upon that reality.

Lars Adaktusson of the Christian Democrats party in Sweden wrote in an op-ed published by Swedish newspaper Svenska Dagbladet that there is clear evidence IS wants to eradicate all Christains from the territory it has captured across Iraq and Syria.

Adaktusson recalled a number of IS' deadly actions against Christians in the past year and a half, including forcing all Christians to flee from the Iraqi city of Mosul, and marking homes with a visible "N," for Jesus' hometown of Nazareth.
